Larissa Janee Hood-Marchiori, previously of Kiowa, Colorado and currently of Marion, Texas attended National American University in Rapid City, South Dakota where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 3.99 Cumulative GPA in 2000, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Paralegal Studies. While at NAU, Mrs. Hood-Marchiori received the National American University Tschetter Graduate Award, which is the highest award given to a BS Paralegal Degree Student. In 2014, Mrs. Hood-Marchiori was named NAU’s Distinguished Graduate.

After graduating from NAU, Mrs. Hood-Marchiori continued her education at South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas, where she graduated in 2003, receiving the awards as voted by her peers for Outstanding Female Graduate and Most Versatile/Diverse Graduate. She passed the Texas Bar Exam in 2003, and has worked for Jon Christian Amberson, P.C. as an environmental oil and gas attorney, while also handling a variety of other cases, both Plaintiff and Defense, including helping to obtain a $25 Million Dollar Judgment, plus a clean up of the Ranch for the McAllen parties. Mrs. Hood-Marchiori went on to work for Carroll & Hinojosa, PLLC practicing Plaintiff and Defense work, Family Law, Contract disputes, and a variety of Estate matters, including Wills and Probate. Mrs. Hood-Marchiori practiced for a short time with the Law Office of Steven C. Benke, practicing all types of family law matters as well as any types of civil cases that needed her expertise before moving on to Wilkins Gire, working on Defense matters as well as Family Law matters. Mrs. Hood-Marchiori looks forward to helping you to navigate through the Defense process and is available to take on any Family Law matters in Bexar, Guadalupe, Comal and the surrounding counties.

Mrs. Hood-Marchiori is married to her husband, Sam, and they have two daughters, who keep them busy with sports and all their extra-curricular activities.
