About
William “Billy” Whyte grew up in Alabama and earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Alabama, majoring in Accounting and Economics. He then received his law degree from Duke University School of Law, where he spent time working for the school’s innocence project and helping free clients who had been previously wrongfully convicted on criminal charges.
He has since moved to Texas with his law practice focused on managing and providing counsel throughout the litigation process on claims for first- and third-party insurance coverage, personal injury, and wrongful death. His previous experience includes managing over 300 cases as a docket attorney in mass torts litigation, helping with corporate restructuring & formations in mergers & acquisitions, drafting appeals for copyright claims and trademark registration rejections, and counseling clients on a variety of estate planning needs. This diverse background has allowed him to be versatile in adapting and responding throughout the litigation process so he can provide flexible and creative solutions that best fits each client’s needs.
When he isn’t working, Billy enjoys spending time with his dog Mio, and watching football as a big Alabama and San Francisco 49ers fan.
