Houston – Wilkins is thrilled to announce that powerhouse insurance coverage attorney Vanessa Durante, former partner of Lewis Brisbois, has joined Wilkins as a senior member in the Coverage practice group. She will be based in Wilkins’s Houston office.

As a seasoned insurance coverage expert, Ms. Durante joins the firm with over a decade of experience. She focuses her practice on coverage issues including loss allocation, long-tail liabilities, priority of coverage, and bad faith claims arising under CGL, D&O, pollution, and professional liability/E&O policies. Vanessa provides coverage advice regarding underlying third-party liability risks and litigates coverage disputes involving primary, excess, and umbrella insurance in state and federal courts throughout the United States and in London.

Ms. Durante earned her bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and her law degree from New York University (NYU).
